Hearing Loss Support Group

Hi all! Please find details for our next Hearing Loss Support Group  

 

When ~Tuesday 21st October 2025   the meeting runs from 2:00pm – 3.30pm 

 (Rosie will be there from 1:45 and until 4:00 pm.) 

  

No arrivals before 1.45 pm the centre does not have the room to facilitate. Thank You!  

Please sign in at reception and pick up your visitor's badge and again sign out and return badge to staff member. This is for your safety.

Speaker Chris Davies – Sarabec  

Sarabec is a UK-based leader in hearing equipment for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or use hearing aids. 

Come along to our deaf friendly event and explore their full range of assistive listening devices and alerting systems designed to make daily tasks easier and communication clearer. These include TV & Conversation Listeners, Telephones, Fire Alarms, Alarm Clocks, Doorbells, Tinnitus assistive products, accessories and more. 

Palantypist- No – However we will use speech to text on the TV.  

VENUE Community Foundation, Philanthropy House, Woodbine Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 1DD - opposite The Queen Victoria  

 

Parking There is a car park outside of the building. Payment via Pay by Phone App or contactless.   

 

Buses There are several buses from Four Lane Ends, the Haymarket and other areas of Newcastle that go along Gosforth High Street and stop close to the building; Metro It is a 10-minute walk from Regent Centre metro and a 15-minute walk from South Gosforth metro
